Job Overview

We are seeking an Account Executive with a proven track record selling technology or software solutions. Candidates will be responsible for selling new business and are expected to hit the ground running. The ideal candidate understands transactional sales, is comfortable selling a technical product, and is excited to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.
 
Responsibilities
  • Managing the entire sales cycle from lead to close
  • Negotiating agreements with SMB clients (may require executive approval)
  • Working closely with sales engineer, and customer success, to develop new product requirements and ensure product evaluations run smoothly
  • Meticulously tracking correspondences and progress with each prospect via Salesforce
  • Working with marketing team to identify targets for account-based marketing
Requirements
  • 2+ years of B2B technology sales experience; consultative selling experience a must
  • Documented, quantified success in past selling roles
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written; proficiency creating and delivering persuasive client presentations
  • Organized and systematic approach to selling
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills; able to work across departments and take on assignments outside the specific scope of the position
  • Self-motivated and disciplined; a "can-do" attitude; excited to work in a fast-paced     start-up environment
 
Extra Credit
  • Experience working in a startup environment
  • Experience with Software as a Service selling
  • Experience with augmented or virtual reality, or IoT
  • Technical background or experience selling technical products
